The fifth season of the highly-anticipated supernatural teen TV drama series “Teen Wolf” still has a month to go before it returns to the small screen. However, a recent spoiler report suggests that the wait for the comeback of the Beacon Hills characters will really be worth it.

Andy Swift from TV Line was one of the lucky press people who were able to get a glimpse of Season 5’s opener titled “Creatures of the Night.”

Arrow Season 3 went pretty dark places. There were some deaths, and some of them didn’t stick… at this point, we’re pretty sure Akio’s the only one who’ll really stay dead… even the lead character got stabbed with a sword. So when IO9 interviewed Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim and he was asked what we can expect from Season 4, what did he say?

“It will take a lighter tone. That’s pretty much the only thing I say without spoiling it,” he told the site.

“We’ve been working for about a month now in the writers’ room, talking about season 4, and I think that one thing we all collectively understood was season 3 beginning with Sara’s death, because it’s the death of a major character on the show, it set a tone for the remainder of the season. And I’m not the least bit apologetic for that tone,” Guggenheim said. “I happen to like dark and I like the fact that Arrow is a pretty dark show particularly for a network show. That said, every year you want to mix things up and there was sort of a collective desire on all of our parts to try to inject a little bit more lightness into the show, a little bit more humor. It’s not going to radically change. The show’s still going to be the show but in terms of tone we’re coming off a very very hard season for all of our characters. We wanted to try to mix it up a little bit,” he said. (more…)

Arrow actress Willa Holland (Thea) talked about this subject a bit at the recent MCM Expo in London.

“We had big plans for Harley. But, I guess something came down from DC execs that told us to shut it down. I mean we had that tease with the pigtails and the ARGUS outfit but, we’ll never see it. We would love to Harley in Arrow but it will never happen,” Flickering Myth reports Willa as saying at the event (though without video, they may have been paraphrasing what is said in the paragraphs below.) The CW released a trailer for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and it showed Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), the former Canary in Arrow, as the White Canary. We also know that she has been resurrected, thanks to the Lazarus Pit. So who’s the White Canary?

The White Canary was a villain from the comic books, who first appeared in Birds of Prey #1 in 2010. She is of Chinese origin and is a martial artist who fought against the Black Canary. She’s also the lone sister of the Brothers Silk, a family with martial arts background. (more…)
