Nicholas Sparks. Go ahead, get all of the jokes, the remarks, and the vitriol out now before we move any further. The man has made a cottage industry out of romance novels that sport pastel-tinted beach scenes instead of glistening abs, complete with protagonists that are always hiding some sort of physical or emotional issue. His is a formula that has taken both literature and cinema by storm, and to varying degrees of success, he has decided the fates of date nights across the globe. Film Review – Ex Machina

Ex Machina (sometimes styled EX_MACHINA) is a 2015 British science fiction thriller film written and directed by Alex Garland, marking Garland’s directorial debut, and starring Domhnall Gleeson, Alicia Vikander, and Oscar Isaac.

Ex Machina tells the story of a computer coder, Caleb (Domhnall Gleeson), who wins the chance to spend a week at the house in the mountains belonging to Nathan (Oscar Isaac), the CEO of the company he works for. (more…)

The clip that we posted screen capture for is now online!

A new episode of Arrow titled “Broken Arrow” is on The CW tonight at 8PM, and The CW has now released that clip, which features Emily Bett Rickards, Brandon Routh, and Stephen Amell.

Initial overnight ratings numbers for last night’s Flash are in. Final numbers can and will go up, especially when DVR and other things are factored in, but right now, it’s looking like 3.5 million viewers for “All-Star Team Up” and a 1.3/5 in the demo, keeping The Flash in the same ratings range as shows on ABC and FOX.
